In order to further improve employees' accident prevention and self-rescue ability, implement the special rectification implementation plan of the limited space of the superior department and the company's emergency drill plan, on the afternoon of October 9, 2020, the company's production safety department organized personnel to carry out an emergency drill for hydrogen sulfide poisoning in workshop 206.
The exercise simulates that 2 maintenance personnel in workshop 206 entered the Shenghua Chemical Section 2# underground pump room to overhaul the sewage regulating tank lifting pump when they inhaled hydrogen sulfide gas and fell into a coma. The guardian immediately reported to the workshop staff on duty, the workshop immediately activated the emergency plan, and organized the staff on duty. Rescue, at the same time, report the company's emergency duty personnel, arrange the company's fire station emergency rescue team to assist in the rescue, and perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation on the poisoned persons.
The entire exercise process was handled quickly and with appropriate measures, which met the objectives of the exercise. The complete success of the drill has further standardized the emergency drill process, which has effectively improved the level of emergency combat for preventing personnel from hydrogen sulfide poisoning, and has positive significance for avoiding or handling such accidents in the future.
