The first "Yinchuan Marathon" in 2017 was indescribable to the deepest touch in my heart. It was only a 42.195-kilometer race. To me who lacked sports on weekdays, it was like a moat. I can only appreciate its uniqueness on TV. Charm.
For the "Yinchuan Marathon" in 2019, I chose to face the challenge. However, the hardship of preparing for the war far exceeded my expectations. At the beginning of the preparation for a run, it was difficult to go up and downstairs due to leg pain. After getting better, he strained his knee because of inexperience and had to rest for more than half a month. During the period, I was frustrated, lost, and thought about giving up, but finally clenched my teeth and persevered. To paraphrase a buzzword: the path you choose, even if you kneel down, you have to finish it.
When the knee injury recovered, I started my preparation journey again. From running 2 kilometers a day, gradually increasing the amount, to 30 minutes into 5 kilometers, 1 hour into 10 kilometers... Later, I started running to work. During the 12 kilometers from the East Gate of Yinchuan to the Wangyuan factory, I ran 7 kilometers every day to Ningxia Medical University, and then took a bus to the company. After more than a month of practice, while slowly adapting to the rhythm of the long-distance running, I became more and more confident in running the half marathon.
The "Yinchuan Marathon" in 2019 is the third "Yinchuan Marathon" and the first horse in my life. After 1 hour and 57 minutes, I finished the "half marathon" and gave myself a satisfactory answer.
There will always be all kinds of difficulties and obstacles in life. In the face of difficulties, we must dare to try and challenge. Only by perseverance and hard work can we achieve success. This is what I gained from participating in this marathon.
