I enlisted in the army in 1983 and was stationed at the foot of the Helan Mountain. I was mainly engaged in national defense construction. I stayed at the construction site day and night. I received many awards for my outstanding tasks. He was promoted to professional sergeant major in 1989 and retired to work in the enterprise in 1998.
In the same year, there were more than 200 fellows who joined the army. In the 1985 Million Disarmament, some comrades rushed to the Laoshan front line, some comrades returned to work in the countryside, and some were added to the troops stationed in Ningxia. Only a few comrades were admitted to the military academy. In self-defense operations against Vietnam, fellow comrade Zheng Yu bravely killed the enemy and killed 29 enemies. He was awarded the first-class combat hero by the Central Military Commission. Most of the fellow comrades in the countryside earned third-class merit in combat, and all the comrades in Gansu Province arranged their jobs. A few comrades-in-arms slept in southern Xinjiang and gave their precious young lives. Most of the comrades-in-arms who returned to work in the countryside live in poverty. Compared with them, I am relatively lucky. Thinking back to the comrades who died on the battlefield, I feel even more lucky.
Although I have taken off my military uniform, I will not fade away from my retirement. I have brought the army’s strict organizational discipline, rigorous work style, serious work attitude and selfless dedication to the enterprise, using my own practical actions and excellent work performance. Prove its own value. In the company's 309 workshop, I won the "Outstanding Individual Award" for three consecutive years. As a former soldier, as a member of the Communist Party, I will always stick to my original intention, never forget my original intention, always keep my mission in mind, love my job and work hard, and never fail the party’s training and the trust of the enterprise!
